The Chenille Sweater Trend

Hey babes! I am soooo sorry it has been so long since I shared a blog post with you. I am currently revamping my blog COMPLETELY ...so get excited!! So many new things to come & I can't wait to share with all of you. Thanks for being patient with me! I'm hoping to launch the new site for the new year! Only 1 month away.

Today I wanted to share my favorite trend this season....CHENILLE.... I am loving everything in this material! It is the perfect material because #1 it is warm and #2 its SOOOO soft & cozy! It feels like you are wearing a blanket.

This is one of my favorite looks this season... pairing any long cardi with OTK boots and a dress is the ultimate fall look. It is easy & comfortable, but don't you worry..you look like a million bucks! I'm wearing a size XS for reference.

Another top chenille sweater in my books is the beautiful gold pull over from Target. It is only $24.99 ...what a steal! I love this gold color for me because it is TOTALLY different than anything I own...its almost as if it is a mustardy color. I think this color would look gorgeous on any skin tone truly. But, don't worry if the gold isn't the look for you... they have this sweater available in 3 other colors. It comes in green, violet and black. I'm wearing a small for reference.

My earrings I found in a little boutique in New Orleans.. I am obsessed with them! They were the perfect Bauble Bar dupes, but I've linked some similar Bauble Bar earrings here & here

Another fun trend this season is the ruffle sleeve trend! Target has made the ultimate sweater made out of the popular chenille material and added the most beautiful ruffle detailing to the sleeves! I could have just died when I came across this sweater. I'm positive that this is my favorite sweater in my closet right now! I'm wearing a small for reference.

Another cute chenille sweater I have come across is this gorgeous green sweater from Nordstrom! It is under $50 and the color is absolutely perfect for any holiday party. I feel like I don't come across this color often...I usually will see sweaters in a very dark hunter green color, but I love how bright this one is. The added ruffle gives it just enough flare to dress it up or it can be casual enough to wear to a lunch with your girlfriends. (When I tried this on in stores, I wore a medium)

I am obsessed with this pink funnel neck sweater. This cut is very similar to the gold sweater shown about from Target, but it comes in PINK...this is such a beauty blush color. I am loving the sort of high low cut where it is longer in the back and a little shorter in the front. This sweater is also under $50 from Nordstrom!

How darling is this choker neck sweater?? I feel like the choker neck sweater was such a huge trend last season and I love how they have paired that style with the chenille material. This sweater not only comes in this gorgeous purple color, but black, too! I would order the black if you want a more edgy look. This sweater would look adorable paired with any bomber jacket this winter.

I am DYING over this sweater. This split neck sweater shows off a little shoulder for that little spark you are looking for. I think this top is so perfect for any dinner party you have this holiday season or a special date you may have. I love how you can take the cozy sweater and add a little sexy vibe to it with this one shoulder look. The best part is you are going to look sooo dang good in this sweater and FEEL so good because you are going to actually be comfortable! I say that is a double win. This sweater comes in 3 gorgeous traditional colors. It comes in a very rich navy color, a winter white and this bold black.
