Meet Jordon

Hi, there! My name is Jordon and I am the author behind my new blog, S I M P L Y J O R.

Oh the first blog post - what to write? I think I am going to start off with telling a little bit of my story as you will learn much more as we get to know each other through future posts! I am 27 years old and I am the wife to my best friend, Chad and a dog mom to my golden retriever, Oshie. I grew up in the small town of Cape Girardeau, Missouri - which is truly where my heart always lies. I currently reside in Jacksonville, Florida for my job in Human Resources. My husband and I have lived here for almost a year and a half and we love it so much here. We feel like we are on "permanent vacation" Haha! The most special part of our little family is our dog, Oshie (who you will meet), is a golden retriever and almost 3 years old. He is our baby - we couldn't love him more!

For some of you who are reading this ... you are probably thinking, Why did she start this blog? Well, let me tell you how Simply Jor was born. I have always had such a love for fashion. I worked for Charolette Russe throughout high school and college and I just loved it so much. I truly enjoyed helping customers put together outfits for their special events. There is nothing better than a perfect outfit. You know you have it right when you want to wear it multiple times and you have to rack your brain to think who may have seen you in it the first time so you can get away with wearing it again with a new group of people! Well, I have so many clothes and I just wanted to share. I pride myself in the fact that I don't have to buy the shirt that is $100 + to get the look I am looking for. Don't get me wrong, I love designer items as much as the next girl, but lets be realistic here! Who can afford to shop for every outfit at a high end clothing store? I want to share the great outfits that I have put together that are friendly to your budget, but make you look like a million bucks! I love when someone tells me they love my top and I can confidently say, "Thank you so much - it's from Target!" and they have a smile from ear to ear because it is something they can easily buy that is friendly to the budget.

My blog won't just highlight different clothes and fashion trends - I want to talk about everything! The simple life, the realistic life - having a job and getting dinner on the table at the end of the day while trying to balance a healthy fitness lifestyle and still trying to look fabulous while doing it. Or trying to make sure you spend enough time with your significant other while balancing time with friends and travel, etc. I want to talk about it all.
